Use the comma

Listen, I’m not planning to get all snippety-snap about grammar here every week, but last year someone in the UK government said some weird stuff about the Oxford comma. Today, I realised two things:

  1. I’ve been quietly seething ever since
  2. My rage contains some useful information for people who want to write better copy or content 

Please ignore anti-comma politicians, and use the Oxford comma. If you don’t know what it is then look it up, learn, and start using it. 

It’ll make it easier to write what you mean, and make the meaning clearer to your readers.
